Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field; Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 Hana ERP MM module is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven ability to secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Strong understanding of procurement fundamentals, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience managing a team of 5-6 procurement professionals is required.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and SLAs in a procurement role.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to delivering results and meeting targets within established timelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Manufacturing/Petro-Chemical/Oil & Gas background is preferred
Training & Certification
- Having a certification in SCM and Logistics functions would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire procure-to-pay process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, reduce costs, and optimize supplier relationships.
- Maintain high standards of integrity and compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 procurement professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Utilize SAP S/4 Hana ERP MM module to manage procurement activities efficiently and effectively.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and other internal stakeholders, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while meeting quality standards and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Represent the procurement function in meetings, presentations, and negotiations with suppliers and vendors.
- Uphold professional communication standards in all interactions, both written and verbal.
- Set clear objectives and expectations for the procurement team, monitoring performance and providing support as needed.
- Strategically guide the team to achieve departmental and organizational goals, meeting or exceeding set KPIs and SLA.
