PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk. (EII) owns and operates the largest privately-owned domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) refinery in Indonesia. Its main business is the refining and processing of natural gas to produce LPG (mixture of Propane and Butane) and Condensate with a capacity of 190 TPD (Ton Per Day) LPG and 500 bpd (barrels per day) Condensate. The Company’s facilities are located near Palembang, Indonesia.
EII looks to play an active and leading role in national self-sufficiency of downstream gas value-added products. It is primely positioned to draw on the expertise of its promoters, employees and supporting network. The diversity of the country in which it operates provides abundant opportunities to spearhead and execute high-value Greenfield projects and investments that will leave a positive impact on the economy, infrastructure and society of the nation. As part of this driving belief, EII has also taken a majority stake in an Ammonia project, PT Panca Amara Utama, which has successfully commissioned its 2,000 tons per day Ammonia facility deploying latest energy efficient technology.

Our Products
LPG
LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) is liquified natural gas which is a mixture of various hydrocarbons derived from natural gas dominated by propane (C3) and butane (C4). In Indonesia, LPG is mainly used as fuel for heating appliances in the kitchen, shopping centers and hotels, vehicle fuel and construction industry such as welding appliances in steel workshop.
CONDENSATE
Condensate is five-carbon or more alkane compound which is a liquid by-product of refined natural gas. Within the domestic market, condensate is mainly used as basic material for paint thinner, adhesive, and vehicle tires. Apart from that, it can be used as light naphtha serving as cracker in the process of polyethylene production.
