Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Variance Analysis

  1. Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with various departments to develop comprehensive and realistic financial plans.
  2. Coordinate with different departments to gather necessary data and ensure accuracy in forecasting.
  3. Monitor the organization’s budget, tracking variances between actuals and budgeted figures.
  4. Provide regular updates to senior management on budget performance and recommend corrective actions if needed.
  5. Prepare long-term financial forecasts, incorporating business strategies and market conditions.

Financial Planning & Forecasting and Variance Analysis:

  1. Preparation of long-term financial Statement (P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow) including scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis incorporating business strategies and market conditions and enterprise/share valuation with different method of valuation.
  2. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against forecasts, identifying reasons for discrepancies.
  3. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on variance analysis.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, margins, and profitability, to identify trends and variances.
  2. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive management and stakeholders for individual companies and consolidation at the group level.
  3. Develop financial models to support decision- making, including capital expenditure analysis, ROI calculations, and break-even analysis. Performance indicators (KPIs), financial trends, and variance
  4. Present financial information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that stakeholders understand the implications of financial data
  5. Support management in making informed decisions by providing relevant financial analysis.

Strategic Planning and Business Partnering:

  1. Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align financial planning with business strategies.
  2. Act as a business partner to various departments, providing financial guidance and support for decision-making.
  3. Participate in strategic planning sessions, offering financial perspectives on business opportunities and risks.

Process Improvement:

  1. Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  2. Implement best practices and leverage technology, such as financial planning software, to enhance the FP&A function.
  3. Drive initiatives to streamline financial processes and reduce manual tasks.

Team Leadership and Development:

  1. Lead and mentor the FP&A team, providing guidance, training, and career development opportunities.
  2. Ensure that the team has the necessary skills, tools, and resources to perform effectively.
  3. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the FP&A team.

Ad-hoc Projects and Analysis:

  1. Lead or participate in special projects as required by the organization, such as mergers and acquisitions, financial system implementation, or business model changes
  2. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support emerging business needs or strategic initiatives.
