PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (SEP) has successfully achieved the PROPER award in Blue category from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2014-2015 period. This award was obtained through the procedures and strict assessments.

The PROPER Certificate and Final Report were conferred to SEP on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Palembang, by the Head of the Environment Agency of South Sumatra province to Mr. Adi Kurniawan as the representative of SEP.

PROPER is the Program for Environmental Performance Rating. In assessing the performance, PROPER has two criteria, which are the compliance assessment and the beyond compliance assessment.

The implementation of PROPER begins with the selection of participating companies, in which the targeted companies of PROPER participants are the companies that contribute significant impact in the environment, listed on the stock market, have export-oriented products or publicly used products. SEP is the company that fulfills the criteria.

The Blue rating that SEP obtained, is intended for companies that have been doing actions and/or environmental management activities as required and in compliance with the current provisions and regulations.
